Why Get Involved?

Save The Quest began as a student-led response to a critical gap in educational access faced by students with visual disabilities. Volunteers came forward to serve as scribes and tutors, support academic work and convert learning materials into accessible formats.

Over time, this grassroots effort evolved into a broader initiative focused on inclusive education, accessibility, volunteer engagement and community participation.

Today, every volunteer, institution and partner contributes to addressing barriers that can prevent students from accessing education and participating fully in academic and social life. Through collective action, we work towards creating more accessible learning environments where students can continue their education, participate in examinations, build capabilities and pursue greater independence.

Different Ways To Partner With Us

Collaboration between corporates, educational institutions, NGOs, public bodies and communities can strengthen the reach and sustainability of inclusive development initiatives.

Partnerships with Save The Quest can support programmes addressing education access, disability inclusion, accessibility, digital inclusion, skill development, volunteer mobilisation and community needs.

Corporate Social Responsibility

CORPORATE PROJECTS

CSR partnerships enable organisations to invest in structured, community-responsive interventions that address identified social needs.

Through CSR collaborations, Save The Quest works with corporate partners to design and implement programmes around inclusive education, examination access, accessibility, digital enablement, skill development, volunteer engagement and community support.

Under the CSR framework of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Save The Quest is implementing the Scribe Bank Initiative, supporting students with disabilities in accessing examination assistance through a coordinated volunteer network.

Save The Quest has also collaborated with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited on relief support for families affected by flooding in Darbhanga.

Each partnership is developed around an identified community need, with interventions designed to promote access, participation, dignity and measurable social outcomes.

CORPORATE VOLUNTEERING

Employee volunteering provides professionals with opportunities to contribute their time, skills, knowledge and experience to social development initiatives.

Depending on programme requirements, employees can participate as scribes, tutors, mentors, event volunteers, campaign facilitators or disability-awareness volunteers. Save The Quest coordinates these engagements to ensure that volunteering is need-based, structured, inclusive and meaningful for the communities being supported.

NGO Partnerships

Strengthening Community-Based Action Through Collaboration

NGOs and community-based organisations bring valuable local knowledge, community relationships, programme experience and specialised expertise. Collaboration enables organisations to complement one another’s strengths, extend programme reach and respond more effectively to community needs.

Save The Quest seeks partnerships with organisations working across areas including disability inclusion, education, healthcare, skill development, community development and social protection.

Partnership opportunities may include student referrals, programme implementation, volunteer mobilisation, community outreach, awareness initiatives, knowledge exchange and resource sharing.

Our previous collaborations and engagements have included organisations such as the National Association for the Blind, National Organisation for Social Empowerment, Jeevan Jyoti Foundation, Screech Foundation and Jamia Charitable Trust.

Bringing Local Knowledge and Programme Expertise Together

Save The Quest believes that sustainable social impact is strengthened through collaboration, knowledge exchange and complementary expertise.

Our engagements with disability organisations, charitable trusts, educational institutions and community-based organisations have supported initiatives across education, healthcare, training, awareness, accessibility and community engagement.

Partnerships may include referrals, programme implementation, volunteer coordination, community mobilisation, awareness activities, technical or specialist support and knowledge sharing.

By working together organisations can strengthen existing capacities, reduce duplication, expand reach and create more coordinated responses to community needs.

Building a Culture of Student-Led Social Action

Young people have been at the heart of Save The Quest since its inception. Student volunteers have contributed as scribes, supported educational initiatives, participated in awareness campaigns and helped build greater understanding of disability and inclusion within their communities.

Save The Quest has engaged with students and NSS teams across Delhi University colleges and institutions including Hindu College, Kirori Mal College, Kamla Nehru College, Gargi College, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce and IIT Roorkee.

A College Action Chapter provides students with a structured platform for sustained engagement throughout the academic year. Chapters can support ongoing programmes through volunteering, awareness and sensitisation activities, student mobilisation, community outreach and campus-based inclusion initiatives.

Students can participate according to their interests, skills and availability while gaining practical experience in volunteering, community engagement, leadership and social responsibility.

Building Sustainable Partnerships for Social Impact

Corporate partnerships can help translate identified community needs into structured, scalable and sustainable social development programmes.

The Scribe Bank Initiative, supported under the CSR framework of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, works to strengthen examination access for students with disabilities by connecting them with trained and coordinated volunteer scribes.

Save The Quest has also worked with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited on relief support for families affected by flooding in Darbhanga.

Depending on programme objectives and community needs, corporate support can contribute to inclusive education, examination access, accessible learning, digital inclusion, skill development, volunteer mobilisation and community-based relief initiatives.

We work with corporate partners to align programme design, implementation, outreach and impact measurement with identified social needs and CSR objectives.

Employee Volunteering

Employee volunteering enables corporate teams to engage directly with social development initiatives while contributing their skills and time to identified community needs.

Depending on programme requirements, employees may participate as scribes, tutors, mentors, campaign volunteers, event volunteers or facilitators for disability inclusion and awareness activities.

Save The Quest coordinates volunteering opportunities through a structured approach that prioritises the requirements, dignity and experience of the communities being supported.

Sustaining Student Engagement Beyond a Single Event

Student participation has been an integral part of Save The Quest since its early years.

Students have contributed as examination scribes, supported awareness initiatives organised sensitisation activities, mobilised volunteers and helped promote greater understanding of disability and inclusion on their campuses.

A College Action Chapter provides a structured platform for students to move from one-time volunteering to sustained engagement. Chapters can support ongoing Save The Quest programmes organise campus activities, mobilise student volunteers and contribute to community-focused initiatives throughout the academic year.

Through these chapters, students can develop practical experience in leadership, community engagement, teamwork, advocacy and social responsibility while contributing to more inclusive educational environments.
