A remarkable story of Saif Ahmad Khan, founder of Save The Quest, and his 2,300 km motorcycle journey from Delhi to Bihar to raise awareness about disability and empower the visually impaired. Through his campaign “Ride for Netraheen,” he worked to challenge perceptions, promote inclusion, and support visually impaired communities.
Save The Quest launched The Scribe Bank at Jadavpur University, strengthening its commitment to inclusive education. The initiative connects visually impaired students with volunteer scribes, helping ensure that no student misses an examination due to the lack of a scribe.

Collaborative Efforts of Save The Quest and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. Bring Relief to Flood-Affected Families in Darbhanga, Bihar Dailyhunt wrote about our flood relief work. We worked with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL). Floods hit Darbhanga, Bihar. Many families lost their basic needs. We gave them relief kits. We also taught them about health and hygiene. This helped stop the spread of disease.
Indian Oil Launches 'Project Quest': A CSR Initiative Empowering Visually Impaired Students with Digital Scribe Support Cover Magazine wrote about Project Quest. This is a new website and app. It helps visually impaired students. It gives them scribes and study support. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) started this project. It is part of their CSR work. It was launched in Chandigarh.

Reader's Digest featured the work of Save the Quest in its August 2023 issue in an article titled "A Helping Hand" by Anu Prabhakar. The article highlighted our work in arranging scribes for people with visual impairments and other disabilities. It featured Saif Ahmad Khan, founder of Save the Quest, and the efforts of our scribe network to provide reliable support during exams. The article also highlighted how Pushpa, one of our dedicated scribes, has written 1,086 exams for students with special needs. Her story shows how a few hours of support during an exam can help a student continue their education and work towards their goals.
A Walk For Equality Tehelka covered our White Cane Safety Day Walk. We held an awareness campaign for people to get a different perspective. This perspective was about the visually impaired people. The campaign helped people learn about the challenges they face every day. Students and volunteers took part in the walk and experienced some of the challenges faced by visually impaired people. The initiative encouraged greater awareness, understanding and acceptance.
Supporting blind students in their studies The Hindu covered our work with Delhi University students. The Hindu covered our efforts to support the blind students in their education. We work to make sure visual impairment never becomes a barrier to education. This happens through volunteers, scribes, and academic support.
